Happy Birthday To Me + Makeup Try

Hi guys, I was celebrating my bday. This post is slightly older and wiser then the rest.
So for my birthday I went all out on my make... Well all out for me.
I tried out my lashes the other day... I'm not good at putting them on D:
I was so afraid they would fall off.

These are Dolly wink Feminine Style & Vivid Pop.

I need some advice on contouring powder + work on my hair..
Still not long enough for side bangs.

Tips? Advice?
Thanks~

Birthday meal~

Also my boyfriend made me a cake

Isn't that nice?

Palgantong BB Cream + Theatrical Powder Review

 Palgantong Morning Set:
Palgantong BB Cream + Theatrical Powder
パルガントン- パルガントン モーニングセット
let's try it~
First thoughts:
Palgantong is a brand that originated in Korea but flourished in Japan. Because of my love of another Korean based brand (Etude House) I thought I'd give this a go.
When I first opended the seal I was unpleasently surprised by my little tube of BB cream suddenly deciding to pull a Mt. St. Helens. Cream started oozing out like no tomorrow, though I wasn't putting any pressure on the bottle... So not a good start

This little disaster let me get aquanted with the consistacy of this bb cream (runny) as well as the colour.. Which is kind of perfect for me. Almost a little too perfect.

The Results:
now you see it...
And probably the most useless before and after ever
Left: before                                      Right: after

As you can see it pretty much just brightened my complection. Any redness is barely subdued and freckles aren't really covered at all! A good thing is it is very lightweight, it hardly feels like I'm wearing anything at all... of course it also looks that way
It does take my bags away a bit but the coverage is sheer at best. Though it evened my skin tone and helped my pores it didn't cover anything in darker pigment then the cream. It covered over the white scare on my forehead and the redness gets maybe a little lighter but notice the freckles remain unchanged.
My skin did look brighter and dewy, but this could be because the BB cream is pretty oily rather then the pigment. Since I have very dry skin this is a big plus for me. Usually I avoid this sort of makeup because it dries me out so quickly.

THEATRICAL POWDER

The Morning set comes with a pink poof that you can use for your powder, but once again using it really isn't too practical... At least you have a friend now.

BFF 4life

I can't get a good picture of this stuff on my skin. == "Pearl Beige" has a little sparkle to it. It's not too distracting and the powder melts and blends into my skin about as perfectly as the cream. However combining the BB cream and Theatrical powder really doesn't improve the coverage. I would only rely on it for adding brightness and setting your face.

Overall:
Good for people who already have good skin and just want some lightweight coverage for minor problems+brighning. It's an ok way to cover up a night of drinking and no sleep. But if you have redness, or imperfections that you are trying to hide I would suggest giving this one a pass... I will be.
+Very lightweight
+Won't dry out your skin
-Sheer coverage, concealer required
-Avoid for oily skin types
-More like a tinted moisturiser then a true BB cream

KOSE - Cosmagic Sweet Deco Cheek Review

KOSE - Cosmagic Sweet Deco Cheek - Strawberry Pink
コスマジックスウィートでこチーク
First Thoughts:
Have I mentioned I'm a sucker for things in cute packaging? It's kind of pathetic really.
So when I saw this blush came with a little poofy thing...well, how could I resist?
poof poof
The adorable little puff that comes with it is pretty much useless for application. For bothering cats it seems to work very well. It comes with another brush too which you can fit into the case. In the the package this is hidden behind the blush. I assume to shelter the blunt practical truth from people who are easily swayed by pretty things. Touche, KOSE.

One thing I notice is that things can get pretty messy since the colours are all together... so expecting lots of waste/fallout T_T. Lucky the colours are meant to be mixed XD
Also, this blush is super sparkly.
I've got to rememeber to take pictures BEFORE I start playing with things ==

The Results:

It looks like I have a funny rash.
Top- Cream Pink (from the <3 )
Middle- Shiny Light Pink
Bottom- Shiny Pink

Both the darker pinks are very strongly pigmented, you won't need to use very much. The light pink is almost white. Both the powder blushes are super duper sparkly... how many times can I say that? They really are The blush is very blendable d= so you can decide to use each colour on its own or mix them. You can use the light pink as a highlighter. I find these pinks very cute, they are bright but also natural. The colour also lasted surprisingly long, at the end of a hot day my cheeks were still pink~ And I know it's not a sunburn... unless I've turned into a twilight vampire.

Overall:
Super cute inside and out~ I really love this blush. The colours are lovely and long lasting, really what more could you ask? Great for anyone who is looking to create girly sweet sparkly cheeks. My only complaint other then the mixing is that the brush lays right on the powder when you put it in the case. Sensitive skin
+Super strong pigment
+Multiple colours
+Flattering shades
+/- Shiny~ (love it or hate it)
-Unintentional mixing

What's in The Bag?

Not much really. I am still pretty new to using anything beyond eyeliner, a bit of a late bloomer I guess. And so, inspired by Amelie's Gyaru big sister post I'm essentially doing the little sister version... So, lets see what's in there~

My Beauty Diary - Natto Face Mask Review

My Beauty Diary Natto Face Mask
我的美丽日记纳豆奈米面膜
For: All skin types, especially dehydrated, dull skin
My Skin: Dry, super sensitive
Mask Type: Sheet Mask

First Thoughts:
I've used My Beauty Diary mask before and really like them because they've never given my sensitive skin any problems.
While I was using the natto face mask I felt a bit of stinging on the most sensitive parts of my face (eyes, chin, cheeks). When I opened the package I noticed the smell of this mask (which isn’t like natto I should add) is kind of ‘musky’ I guess. To be clear the smell isn’t heavy or bad in any way, there is just something about that kind of smell that my skin hates. So I’m pretty sure I’m reacting to the perfume in it… For this reason I only had it on for about 10 min. But despite the stinging there was no redness, it just itched.

The Results:
Though I took it off early I have to say that this left my skin feeling super soft and smooth. My face did feel slightly tighter after using this mask. This lingered for an hour or so after using the mask after using my other face products. My face even looked a little brighter afterwards but not especially more then other masks I’ve tried.

Overall:
Because of the irritation I’m on the fence about getting the natto mask again. It didn’t leave red marks or cause bumps but I don’t think I'll be using it again. Out of the My Beauty Diary masks I’ve tried so far this has left me feeling the most moisturized but also the only one that has caused any sort of negative reaction. However if you have skin that doesn’t react to perfumed products I would suggest this mask.
+Cheap option for a weekly mask
+Very moisturising
+No natto smell ^^
-Don't expect any dramatic effect
-Not approved for super sensitive skin
